There are 240 kids in grades K-5 (40 kids per grade). The school needs help addressing the academic needs of these adorable kids. I hope to help with the brains, not money, of my brilliant friends. Some members of this team include: teachers and administrators at Frederick Douglass school, The Port of Miami (offering jobs!), Florida International University (FIU) (job training & educational psychologists), and Trinity Church Miami (entrepreneurship training).
Separately, I am connected with a group of elite private boarding schools in the Northeast U.S. These schools are interested in recruiting up to 24 inner-city kids in grades 5-10 for consideration and admission. Full scholarships worth up to $80,000 per year could be offered for each student, every year through 12th grade.
These elite private boarding schools feed the best colleges in the U.S. including the most elite Ivy League colleges: Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, University of Pennsylvania (where I attended for eight years), Princeton University and Yale University.
